Bounty Apps ("we", "our", or "us") operates mobile applications including Bounty Budget. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our applications.
Information We Collect
Our apps are designed with your privacy in mind. We collect minimal data:
- Data you enter: Financial data, transactions, account names, and other information you manually input into our apps is stored locally on your device.
- Voice input: If you use voice features, audio is processed on-device using Apple's Speech Recognition framework. Transcribed text may be sent to our AI service for parsing, but audio recordings are never stored or transmitted.
- Analytics: We may collect anonymous usage statistics (e.g., feature usage, crash reports) to improve our apps. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
Data Storage
Your personal financial data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your financial data, transaction history, or account information. If you delete the app, your data is permanently removed from the device.
Third-Party Services
Our apps may use the following third-party services:
- Apple Services: App Store, iCloud (if sync is enabled), Apple Speech Recognition
- OpenAI: For voice transaction parsing. Only transcribed text (not audio) is sent. No personal identifiers are included.
- RevenueCat: For managing in-app subscriptions. Their privacy policy applies to subscription-related data.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may only be shared as described in the "Third-Party Services" section above, or as required by law.
Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. Since most data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data also depends on the security of your device (passcode, Face ID, etc.).
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access, modify, or delete your data at any time within the app
- Request information about what data we process
- Opt out of analytics collection
